40 years of vacations at Camping de la Forêt

Since 1985, Camping de la Forêt has strived to be an active player in its region, bringing together, entertaining and welcoming local and international visitors. This year, 2025, marks our 40th year in business, and we’re delighted to have been able to celebrate with you on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

Our warmest thanks to everyone for coming in such large numbers on the day!

A family affair since 1985

Conceived by Pierre and Colette Annaler, Camping de la Forêt was built in 1985 on family land. Very quickly, the green plots were transformed into campsites and the first tents were set up.

Thanks to their closeness to the first campers and their determination, Pierre and Colette laid the foundations for a totem pole in the village of Levier.

A campsite with strong values

In 2006, Jacques Annaler , their son, and Pierrette Jeannin took over the reins and set about modernizing the campsite. Today, driven by strong values of sustainable development and collaboration, we work with local businesses and producers to offer you quality regional products.

Our goal is to help you discover our beautiful Franche-Comté region during your stay or through the activities we offer. Camping de la Forêt symbolizes the experience of the encounter between Humans and Nature.

A 40th anniversary on the theme of the environment

The climate is changing and our consumer habits must evolve, as must the way we travel.

Against this backdrop, we are working with Avenir Montagne and the Commissariat de Massif to implement actions that will regenerate the forest, the water, the economy and, more broadly, the territory. To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’d like the afternoon to focus on the themes of sustainable development, conviviality and sharing.
